Restaurants
Restaurant suggestion in descending order of preference.
There are a lot of restaurants around the BVI. The ones I have noted below are my recommendations as I have been and had consistently reasonable experiences. If you find a restaurant you think should be included I will gladly go and check it out and if I agree with you will add it in. Email me at Limeberry@surfbvi.com
Palms Delight
Located Carrot Bay, West End.
Great local restaurant serving things such as Johnny Cakes, Patties (my favorite) & Chicken in ginger wine. Steer clear of Burgers and American fare here, stick to the local food and you will not be disappointed, No reservations, first come first served so go early. Dinner price Moderate. Phone:494-4863.
Jolly Roger
Located Soper's Hole West End.
Great burgers, ribs and chicken, ask for a table on the dock, dining under the stars watching the boats go by does not get better than this. Daily specials including some fish dishes (frozen) a bit hit and miss. Pizza Ok, good Roti but a bit of a large portion. Reservations a good idea to ensure dock dining. They serve Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, but I only recommend Dinner.
Prices range but fairly moderate with a diversified menu. Phone:495-4559.

Jolly Roger Restaurant
Sugar Mill Hotel Beach bar
Located Apple Bay West End.
This has to be the best spot for lunch in the West End, served in a shack on the beach. Selection of good fresh salads plus burgers, chicken, and a few local dishes. No reservation and moderate on price.
Sugar Mill, Dinner
Location restored sugar mill, Little Apple Bay
Very elegant with polite well trained staff, food very good, if a little bit of a limited menu. Good cocktail spot, go early and enjoy well-made cocktails in the pavilions. Reservations required. Price, expensive but reasonable value. Overall pleasant and sophisticated, good for a celebration or anniversary. Phone:495-4355

Capriccio Di Mare
Location, Road Town.
Good simple food. Open for lunch or an early supper good if you have been shopping. Great Pizza, Salads and Pasta, best coffee in town, good cocktails. It is a typical Italian Café located on a busy street with not much of a view, but the food warrants the visit. Reservations not required, Price moderate. Phone:494-5369
Le Cabanon
Located Road Town.
Typical French Bistro turning into a late night fun bar. Lunch and Dinner. Great steaks, fish (not Caribbean), and fries. Produce comes in from St Martin so sometimes a couple of different things on the menu you would not expect, sliced meat (charcutier) platter very good. Price medium to expensive. Reservations recommended. Phone:494-8660
Brandywine Bay
Location, 2 miles through Road Town towards airport.
Dinner only. This is the best food on the island however it is not at the top of the list for 2 reasons: one, it is a little expensive, two, it is a long way to go for dinner at night. Elegant and romantic location. Fine Italian food. Price expensive. Reservations required. Phone:495-2301
Myett’s Garden & Grille
Cane Garden Bay
Good lunch spot, but dinner ok. Well-made American fare right on the beach at Cane Garden Bay.
C&F restaurant
Location Road Town. Although this is not my thing, Clarence the owner is a great guy and the restaurant is representative of a Caribbean restaurant. He does great Barbeque ribs, fish and chicken. Set in a West Indian garden location. Enormous portions - do not try to eat it all or you could explode!! Reservation required moderate prices. Phone:494-4941
Quito’s Gazebo
Location Cane Garden Bay
Quito’s is a good location for dinner or lunch however the food is not up to much. The entertainment is what you go to Quito’s for. During the weekend he plays with his band “The Edge” and on Tuesdays and Thursdays he plays solo, which I think is outstanding. Do call and check that he is playing to avoid disappointment. Reservations for dinner advisable. Phone:495-4837.
Pussers Road Town main Street 494 3897
Pussers Road Town Soper's Hole 4954554
Much of a much-ness food, which is what you would expect from a theme pub, however good fun places with great cocktails and chicken wings. The shops sell fun stuff, good for gifts back home. Enough said, reservations not required.
